For starters you want to figure out how much we pay for Google Adwords keywords?
Because in reality we never pay exactly what we bid for....
Why?
Actually, we only pay 1% more than the person below you had bid for the keyword, not the maximum amount you bid for. So to sum it up before we get to the "secrets" Google adwords is like an EBAY Auction!
Your next place of business is your click through rate (CTR). The better it is the less you pay. In most cases with just 5% increase in your CTR can be a 50% discount on your ads through Google. So if you want cheap pay per click traffic then you better start increasing your click through rate..

Yes! Tracking, finding out what works. Keep shuffling ads. Most Internet marketers just can't seem to understand that adwords "domination" comes through weeks of trial and error. (not necessarily losts) I pay 10 cents for ads that my competition pays a $1 on. All because I choose to take 2-3 weeks to implement some easy tracing and testing for the keywords I wanted to win!
